About Me as a Counsellor

I work mainly as a person-centred counsellor which puts you and your goals in the driving seat of our work together.  I am trained as an Integrative Therapist which means that  I have studied Psychoanalysis, Gestalt Therapy and Transactional Analysis as well as Person-Centred Counselling and so can work with you in the way that suits you best.

I will work with you to help you find your own way forward.  From wherever you are in your life and whatever you are facing I will be with you on your journey to being the best you can be.

I have experience of working with adults (aged over 16) experiencing anxiety, depression, childhood and adult trauma, personality disorder, neurodiversity including autism and ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder) and struggles with self-belief, self-esteem and self-confidence.

If you are struggling in your life right now and don’t know how to feel better then contact me to see if we are a good fit to work together.

I currently have face to face sessions available on Mondays in Discovery Park in Sandwich in Kent and can also provide online and phone counselling if this suits you better.

I offer a free 30 minute session where you can decide if you think I will be able to help you and I will be honest and do the same.  You can either phone or “whatsapp” me on: 07378 398707 and please leave a message if I am unable to take your call.  I will get back to you within 24 hours.  You can also email me on: angie@angiecurwencounselling.co.uk

Should you decide you would like to book further sessions, each session will cost £45.  I work with clients on an individual basis to discuss and agree how many sessions we think would work for you.  It is usual that six or twelve sessions are planned to take place once a week at the same time and place, however this is completely flexible and it may be that more or less than this will be right for you.

Please do call me if you have any questions that I have not answered here.

I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP).  Please use this link to find out about the ethical standards of the bacp and for advice on choosing a counsellor: bacp-choosing-counsellor-psychotherapist-c3.pdf
